Just got my 12" Kappa Perfect.... what do I do about the insert??

There is a smaller insert and than a larger insert. I am guessing it comes in the box with no insert. For the simple Kappa Perfect enclosure do I put the small or large insert in?

The one that is labeled "Mid" on the back of the insert. The smaller one.
