This thing is in perfect working order but has some exterior damage on the corners. If you remember, I was at my dealers when a lady knocked it off the stand. It broke her foot and damaged the speaker and broke the grill in half. I bought it on the spot for a discounted price and the dealer got me a new grill.

The dealer, who is an authorized repair center for Paradigm, took all the driver out and scoped it and eveything was fine. The grill covers most of -or-all the damage, I can't remember because you can't see any damage when it is in a credenza. I call pull it out and take pictures if needed.

It is about 2 years old and I would like to get $450 for it plus PP fees and shipping.

So what are you going to replace it with? Are you going Sig's all around or just the center for now and the towers later?

I just got back from listening to the Studio v.4, Studio v.5 and the Sig 8 in a treated HT room. The v.4 and v.5 sounded about the same because the are and the curved cabinets aren't worth an upgrade to me. The Sigs are awesome but I am not spending that kind of money on them. I just want the center that goes with my Studios.

I could never own that speaker. Between my mother and my Fiancee it would break another foot.

I am trying. The two dealers I have spoken to only have v.5's now. Same drivers so they would work but you can't set a TV on a curved cabinet. Well, you can but it would fall off a lot.:D
So are you getting a CC-690 v.4 then?

Why not just see if you could get a couple extra little stand things that they use for it? That way you couple sit them on top of the speaker and the tv on them?

Are you getting rid of the DLP and going LCD/Plasma? I don't think either of the 690's are big enough for that tv of yours now:D:D;)

The 690 is the exact same size as the stand on my TV.:D

That's F'ing perfect. :) You don't see that every day. Good luck on finding one. Guess you would need to get enough of the little "feet" to cover the top of the v5 to sit your TV on.

A CC-690 v4 in black just went up for sale at AVS...the seller has it with a pair of Studio 60's, but I'm sure they'd split up a 3.0 and then just sell the 60's as a pair.

Here's the link...

Good luck!

Did you pick that up? I saw that it sold...and for what looked to be a good price!

Nope, he wouldn't ship it.

I am seriously considering not building a HT room right now. The economy is just too scary. If I don't end up building the room, there is a chance that I will redo my entire system so my living room becomes a living room again. This would include some type of nice inwalls, a big wall hung plasma, all gear in a closet and a sub that looks like something other than a sub.
