Hello, I'm in the market for a new sub and have narrowed it down to 3. SVS PB10-NSD , Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus , HSU VTF2-Mk3 . My room is about 16'x13'x8' I currently have Dynaudio Audience monitors and the Onkyo TX-SR805 with an Anthem MCA3 amp. If anyone is familiar with any of these please feel free to chime in and let me know what would be best . Thanks

Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus

HSU VTF2-Mk3

Flip a coin, they are very close in performance. Aren't the Outlaws on sale right now?

Any reason why you chose the HSU or The LFM-1 over the SVS ? Have you heard these subs? Thank you

I have heard the HSU but not the Outlaw. I liked the HSU when I listened to it.Very tight low end.....

It's the VTF-2 Mk3 which is very close to the VTF-3 Mk2. So what was the major difference between the PB10 and the VTF3 ? output? extension? The sub will placed in the rear left corner between a sofa and loveseat. Would a downfiring design be more suitable than a front firing? The LFM-1 has down firing ports as well would this be a better choice? Thanks

We're really splitting hairs between all three of the HSU models actually, they all share some similarities if you go by the manufacture specs. The 3.3 and 3.2 both use the same amp and have the same FR in bass-extension mode. The 2.3 uses a less powerful amp but has the same box Dimensions and the 3.2 and the 2.3 and 3.3 are both side-firing with the 3.3 having larger dual ports.

The 2.3 will have both greater output and a little bit more extension in-room than the PB-10.

I vote for the Outlaw LFM sub. I have the LFM-1 EX and it rocks. It's designed by HSU aand very similar in specs. For $439. (70lbs) shipped it's the best deal out there.

$439 ? When I check the Outlaw site I get $649 for the LFM-EX and $549 for the LFM-1 Plus ? Where /how did you get it for $439 shipped? Thank you.
