I just heard back again from the dealer. Apparently it is a "like new" display/demo with about 20 hours on it, full warranty, etc. $1733 with tax. I am so tempted...

Have you noticed any heat problems or the like with yours as of now?

I had it on 16 hours yesterday without a break and it wasn't even really warm.

So far...awesome. 'Effortless' is a very good summary on this amp.

Sounds the same to me but then again, the EMO always easily powered the Studios well, I just hated it.

If you wanna talk bad about my group of people, I'll help. I've got more stories about drywallers ... how about the one when one of the hangers took a dump on a pile of board at the end of the day and it froze overnight. When they got back in the morning there was nothing to do with the sheet but hang it, and on a ceiling of all places. Of course the general contractor came by and stood staring at it trying to figure out how it got up there. There were even boot prints on either side of the turd.

I gotta million of them.

The 12v. trigger issue was a pulled wire from the SMS. I had to run and get a longer cable and it all works fine now.

Yes, I had the 12v trigger going into the Rotel, and then out to turn on my SMS as well... worked perfectly. I assume that the trigger is turning on the Rotel..?

Makes me very glad I have my console angled in the corner. Plenty of room back there...

Why do people who could use me not live around Providence or Boston? They could come by my place to see what my work actually looks like. Technically I am an interior carpenter, a very good one if I say so myself. Like, I can fix your doors. Up here, they never work right.

Man my front door is all jacked to. We put a nice "storm door" on that is just one solid piece of glass so more light would come into the house. It get's so hot between the doors now (when closed) that my door is very warped and the frame around the window is about to pop off.

It looks really SWEET - I mean the ACTUAL Rotel amp, not this fake picture!

I like the looks of these Rotel amps a lot - very pretty.
