FS: One adult used Onkyo TX-SR805 AV Receiver... receiver is in excellent shape cosmetically and is fully functional! I have original owners manual and remote control as well. I prefer to sell locally only in Dallas TX area. I will ship; but buyer will pay actual ship costs plus insurance. Remember though, this beast weighs over 50 pounds!

Asking $600.00

Thxs!

Just @ 2 years... keep in mind as well; this receiver was in my dedicated theater room. In other words... light use/as it was not used everyday.

Thxs!!

The 805 has a few critical advantages over the 806, namely Multeq XT, higher quality DACs, and a better power supply.

Hey Ben09.... the THanks I gave You was sarcastic! Thxs for your feedback!
Not to worry, any amount of reading will quickly reveal that the 806 is a problematic POS that will give you nothing but grief. The 805 has been well received and may bring about world peace. Sorry to be a turd. Use PM's. :)

The 805 is a great AV receiver and well worth the 600 dollar price tag. If I had the rack to hold it and 600 bucks I would meet this guy and the plex and relieve him off his burden:D. But sadly I have spent up my audio budget. :(

If it sticks around long enough you may have a buyer though. So beware!:D

Sorry guys.....
It will be okay. ;)

I checked out the link and noticed that this rec'r has HDMI 1.3(repeater) and would like a brief explanation of repeater. I forgot and am too lazy to go looking for the answer.

A turd indeed. (sorry, completely unnecessary)

1.) use pms for these kind of details, let the seller sort them out for themselves instead of trying to make them like like a horses rear.

2.) do a little research before instilling the "newer is better" logic factor.;)
