How do the ELT525s sound for music? I'm sure they are quite detailed, but they offer any mid/low end?

They need a subwoofer, especially the bookshelf ones.

The ELT monitors definitely need a sub. Not sure about the towers. The ELT's are excellent, balanced sounding speakers IMO. And they're beautiful to boot. Definitely one of my favorites.
