What are the load times on it like? Is it as fast as the PS 3?

from disc inserted to video on display:


Sony PS3 = 35 secs
Panasonic BD-50 = 43 secs
Samsung BDP-1500 = 45 secs
Sony BDP-S350 = 46 secs
Pioneer 05FD = 50 secs
Pioneer 51FD = 50 secs

Note that the bd35 is not listed. I would expect the bd35 to be similar, if not better, and I would expect something similar for the imminent model to be released, if not better.

congrats on the sale Phil. Man you got a lot of good stuff for good prices. I'd love to pick up ALL of it, but I just don't have the need! I even told my brother, but he just picked up a tv. I even mentioned the idea of getting the stuff for him, but he of course declined, haha. I ought to buy myself something nice, but I just like good valued av gear too much.

Sounds good to me. However, I do not have a BR calibration disk. I do have the Rives Test CD II for you. But, you must first buy both of my LFM-1 Pluses to get that.

That is great Jesse. However, I can't even get out of my driveway due to all of the freezing rain/ice. My power has been off for nearly 24-hours. That was one heck of a storm. Wouldn't you know it, more snow is expected within the next few days.

Upscaling is very good from what I can tell. I also think you can set the aspect ratio as well-that being 16:9 or 4:3 from what I remember. Hope this helps Jesse.
