Chat rooms?

Like talking about the latest SVS sub, new denon amp ect.

Supporting Chat Concept

Having the ability to chat is great idea. Most of my questions come and go and have interactive dialogs via chatting would allow people to share ideas more freely.

I can see its benifit for live questions, but all the forums I have run into with a chatroom ran into the same problem...
They had to have a whole topic for mirc how-to's.
Every newbie has to start a thread for their normal topic, then another how do I get into the chatroom thread.

Not to mention you would almost have to have moderators on it 24/7 to monitor people like sheep and shock

There are irc applets that work pretty well. If someone uses the chat a lot and wants to use a client, they can google how to use an irc client and connect to the server.

I think after you have 20 posts or something a PM could be send with the chat room link to prevent any trolling if that is a concern.
