Didn't America blow that language to kingdom come?
From doing a quick read here:

it seems like Tose worked for a Serbian recording company. There wasn't a lot of talk about his involvement with Croatians other than 1 song being in that language. I'm sure there were more but only one is listed. (I think.) That might have something to do with his father being Orthodox. Wanting to represent former Yugoslavia in a singing competition wouldn't endear him to many Croatians.
It's odd that I've yet to hear a Croatian use the term Serbo-Croatian to describe their language.
I'm mildly surprised that Croatia wasn't accused of murdering him in the name of fascism.
Edit: I mean that in a good way.
