Need new speakers under $1000

I have an Onkyo 805 and want to replace my bookshelves with some floor standers. I want to hear Paradigm M7, B&W 603 S3, and Wharfedale 9.5 or 9.6. What do you think of these? Got any other suggestions?

I heard Axiom 60's and liked those. I listen to mostly rock and prog rock, jazz, r&b, a little classical.

I've not heard the WDs, but I believe you will hear this from many other people that they 600 series B&Ws are superior to the Monitor series from Paradigm. The Studio series seems to run in between the 600 and 700 series from what most people say.

Nice powerful receiver you have there, so you shouldn't have to be picky in regards to efficiency or impedances.

Probably a little more than a day late (or a dollar short here), but the 603s have been out of production for a while now. Replaced by the 68X (1, 2, or 3, I forget which).

Are you sure? The 600 series towers I heard sounded terrible.

The 700 series was nice, but i wouldn't buy either and consider them both to be overpriced for the quality.
