Didn't know where else to post it, so let's try here.

I have a Harmony 890 Pro with RF Extender controlling all of my gear. Wonderful device I must say.

My sole issue is with my XBox 360. The directional buttons repeat most of the time when I issue one of them. I've isolated the problem to the RF Extender and/or remote itself.

I've done all the IR emitter isolating, positioning, etc. I visibly see the RF Extender issue the IR command for the D-arrows twice. When it only moves once, the RF Extender shows only one IR blip on itself. When it repeats the command once, I see it blip twice. When it repeats twice, in an odd fashion, it blips 3 times.

This odd fashion is imaginable as such. Imagine the first click sound of the 360 dashboard, pause for .5 seconds, then two more clicks within .25 seconds of each other. So... click... click click. I see the IR LED blip exactly like that too, so I know it's not the signal repeating from glass. Also, the IR emitter is covered.

I've tried getting a solution from Logitech's forums to no avail. Any Harmony + 360 users out there encounter this behavior? Or any suggestions in general?

Seriously, I have no life.
Go to the home page, find the troubleshooting tab and click on it, click on the 'Some devices don't respond correctly' (or whatever is close to that description, and when it gives the option of changing the repeats, change it from 3 to 1. 3 repeats is the default and with the RF extender, you shouldn't need any more than one. If you still can't find it, go to the FAQ section and look for 'How can I change the number of repeats?' question.

I've had the same issues with my 880 and the troubleshooter allows you to set the timing of the commands and the space between. It works!

Thanks, but the number of repeats has been on 0 since I first set it up. No matter what # of repeats I put it to, it does the same thing.

It doesn't do it all of the time, just almost all of the time.

Thanks, but it's a problem with the RF Extender, not the remote. The 880 is IR only. When I use the 890 Pro directly without the RF Extender, it doesn't have the problem. It's only when I use the RF Extender. Thanks though.
