I experimented with moving the center up to the top shelf, and it does sound much better so I've compromised by pulling out the glass from the second shelf and setting the center (temporarily) on a box. I think I'll pay a woodworker to build me a solid block of maple to set the center upon, but until that happens this temporary fix sounds great! :D

I have another 2155 coming so I'll be using the 2100 for the center and I'll move my other salamander rack out to replace the steel table on which the 2100 is sitting.

I thought I post a picture of a few updates. I still haven't had the time to build my acoustic panels, but I have placed one in the left-corner of the room (it helps).

We now have a cheap couch. I also have another salamander rack now with both of my nad 2155s bridged and running FL and FR. I've also swapped the evos for the opus to see if there is an audible difference. Thanks for looking. :)

Oh-I have a 50" panasonic plasma coming this saturday, so I'll update with more pictures once the new TV is setup. :D

Thanks croseiv. :D I can't wait to setup the panny!

That wire is an extended usb cable running to my ps3 controller.

Finally received the panny; here's a quick picture without using flash (had to open up the blinds for more light).

Fable2 on the panny:

I'm moving into a new place and I've just updated my mains, here's the new room:

This is the back half, I'll try to get a better picture of its layout:

New mains:

Are your mains actually dipolar? Those are probably meant to be side surrounds?

I think you're going to want to swap side surrounds and mains?

Yea, they are, I've been playing around with them and I prefer their imaging/sound to the opus mains. :D

Thanks croseiv! It is my new place and it sounds really good considering it's so open. :)

Few more pics from the other thread:

Thanks for showing us!

And what you do you think of the new speakers?@!

You can probably nix the pads under your mains, they won't do much acoustically. If you are trying to protect the floor, get some of those beefy circular little rubber feet to put the speakers on. Then you won't even see them and it will do the same to protect your floor. Most of those rubber feet have an adhesive backing that you can use to stick them on the bottom of the speakers.

Great pictures too! What kind of camera?

Thanks fellas :)

I finally got around to build my acoustic panels and they are amazing. They're the 4" 703s and they sure help.
