Hi there, Im trying to set up an iPod set up and not sure how to go about doing this... I want to connect my ipod to a Sub, Big Speakers (you kno the ones that dj's play at Clubs or Parties)... please could u help

Your best way to go about this would probably have some sort of mixing board. As long as the speakers are self-powered you won't need anything else but this will make it very easy to control volume and whatnot. These can be found very inexpensively all over the internet, just do a google search for mixing boards and it will give you all kinds of choices in all kinds of price ranges. Hope this helps a bit.

Urrm, mixing boards?? okay ill search for them, then what do i do?? Im a total newbie with audio equiptment... Thanks

Hi agen, ive had a look, mixing boards are really meant for dj's arent they? I would just like to play my ipod on some big speakers, no mixing or nutin else, so wud mixing boards still be my best option???

You need amplifiers between the Ipod and the speakers.

Theoretically, a cheap cord between your Ipod and the input to an amp would get you through the night but what's your budget for this project?

as cheap as can be really... i am a student:>
