Samsung DLP question

So we have a less than 6 month old 50dlp. Two weeks ago out of the blue it started shutting on and off. They sent some techs out to work on it. They ended up replacing most of the guts before replacing the balast. Then it started working again. Three days latter the problem came back. However what I am really concerned about is this...

The image quality went to crap! I think they may have replaced better quality electronics with cheaper stuff. The TV lost its ability to distinguish subtle color differences. Imagine how your computer monitor looks if it dosn't have its color setting high enough. You get sort of contour lines of changing color. It seems as though flesh tones and reds are most effected, but any field of slight color change is effected.

So They are supposed to come back out in a couple days. What should I say about the image quality? Is it really possible that they put cheap electronics back in my TV?

update... doing some research according to the paperwork we got from them they replaced the pcb board. We have the HL50A, the board that was put in was for a HL56A. The HL56A is supposed to be 120hz, our TV originally was not supposed to be. Maybe he was trying to give us an upgrade? Can you really just mix and match electronics like this? How should I broach this with them when they come back out?

The boards for the HL##650 series are probably the same. The lenses between the light engine and screen are the only likely difference.
