I have been looking for a set of speakers that I used to own a long time a go and finally found and bought them. They are JSE Infinite Slope model 1's. I used to own a set of .6's and let them go, but now I have their big brother the Model 1. I got them for a reasonable price knowing that they needed some TLC. I had to buy mids (which are on their way) and now found that the tweeters are in poor condition so I'll be ordering them as well. Once I get them together I'll post Pics. I am very excited to get these up and running again.

Great speakers. are'nt they. Contact John Sollecito owner of Source Technologies which was the OEM for JSE Infinete slope, he would be very happy to help you. I have been running Source for about 15 Years, and I am going on my 5th upgrade, hopefully this is the last one. These are worldclass speakers, WC drivers and that crossover, what a combination. I would say one of the top ten speaker manufacturers in the world.

i just received the replacement mids that john said to get and they are CA18RNX Seas speakers. I know that they are a decent speaker just talking to other members on the forums, but now i need to get tweeters as the ones that are there now are shot!!! this will be like a brand new speaker when i'm finished!!!

I just got all of the speakers and finally installed them. when i picked up the cabinets i was under the impression that they only needed the mids but when i picked them up I found that they needed the tweeters as well. The mids were Focal but they are no longer available so I was sent two SEAS Prestige CA18RNX (H1215) mids but the holes in the cabinet are a little on the big side and I needed to center the speakers in the holes dead on and use the goo speaker gasket sealer to assure a tight seal. I received the tweeters next and again the Dynaudio D28 are not available either, so i was sent a pair of Dynavox TD2801XL and they were pretty much a direct fit. Once everything was together I hooked them up to my Yamaha RX-V3000 receiver and I wanted my first impression to be unequalized so i put it to processor direct and listened and they sounded great!!! I think they might be a little power hungry or it's just that there is no background noise adding fill (clean almost sounds quite) But after a very short listening time (getting late and had to put the kids to bed) I can say I was pleased with the overall sound if they sounded a little light in any area it was the low bass area but again I have been adding bass through my receiver with my old speakers, I can say that the bass is tighter and more responsive. I will take pics and post them by tomorrow hopefully and have time to listen to them some more. I need to listen to some Peter Gabriel before drawing any conclusions .

Just took some pics. You can see that they are pretty short, so I was planing on building two subwoofer enclosures to rest below each main and elevate them to a normal height.
