I'm wondering if those measurements were at 1m or 2m. Do you know? THe Ultra was measured at 2m.

Another vote for the Ultra....Not to mention it is just a must more aesthetically pleasing unit on top of its unbelievable performance...

I'd vote for the Ultra over the EQ, but for $1,600 you could get an eD A7-700 shipped. For $100 or so more you could even get the Epik Conquest.

How many of you have heard the Earthquake?

Earthquake kinda took after Sunfire's design imo, I'd look at the Sunfires. The True Sub Signatures are great home theater subwoofers and very easy to completely hide if thats an issue (13x13" cube). I've seen them on the used market for pretty reasonable prices.

I had an Earthquake MKIV 10" a couple of years ago. It was definitely a loud sub for it's size. It didn't play very low though. Judging by the 10" I had, I would imagine the 15" is probably pretty nice as well.
