Hey Phil, I can't wait for your thoughts! I don't own any SACD's or DVD-A discs so having matching surround speakers was never a prioirity. However I may have to rethink my position now because of HD audio associated with BR. So what surrounds are you using currently and what made you opt for the change.

Billy, thanks for your kind words. I was using Polk RTi6's, but recently sold them. This is one of the main reasons why I opted for the matching 170's. They will be here Thursday. Now, I hope to find the time to get them up on my walls. Once done, then I will re-run Audyssey and do some rather fine tuning. Thanks for your inquiry.

Update!

Well guys, I got my 170's in today. Needless to say, I am very excited! Did I mention that I am excited? However, it will probably be Sunday before I can get them hung up on my wall. We are having a family get together albeit a movie. I think we are all going to go see The Day The Earth Stood Still. So, it will all depend how much time this little get together takes. Either way, my 170's will be up soon enough. I will be in touch folks.
