...After downing quite a bit of beer and a few shots I decided to watch Alien vs Predator: Requiem on BD instead of Iron Man on BD. Why I watched a turd like this can only be summed up somewhere between, "I got hammered," and "it seemed like a good idea at the time."
Oddly, for the first time I understood all the misguided plot points and other quirks of the movie that never made any sense at all to me and I actually enjoyed the movie quite a bit.
The darkness of the picture, so dark I had to strain at times to see what was happening, followed by the bad acting and the rapid cut scenes seemed to blend into a mesmerizing meld of murderous mayhem. The kind of mayhem that can only be understood and enjoyed by those who've thoroughly studied and followed the franchises in question or those who find themselves mentally incapacitated, either through psychological malfunction or severe inebriation (as in my case
).
Sooooo.....
.......it got me wondering, what other movies have people found to be quite entertaining that under "normal" conditions they would find to be downright awful?
