Davemcc Audioholic Spartan Dec 12, 2008 #3 That's a nice setup. I always find the Swan Divas to be an attractive speaker but I've never had the chance to hear them.

Measurements are a bit different than actuality. You don't get a feel for the size until it's in person. I went down to the shipping terminal to go pick the thing up in my Camry and the guy brings it out on a forklift. My buddy and I had to take it out of the box to fit it in the car. I can't even explain how much of a difference the sub makes though. I had a cheap BIC that I got for a gift a few years ago. The SVS just sounds so much cleaner and realistic. I just watched Hellboy 2 the other day and there is a scene where the subway goes by. The sub rattles the whole house....I love it. I have been waiting to get everything together and set up forever and to have a place where I can use it. I finally bought a house about a month ago and this was my first order of business. Here is the house: I love the backyard, a rarity in Southern Cali:

Yup, a friend is helping me cut custom door casings, so I have to finish that before I can install baseboards. I just got the room painted. The floors are original oak that I had refinished before I moved in. The house was built in '54. A raised foundation is surprisingly convenient for home theater install

I think they sound really good, but they are also a very attractive speaker. Traditional style, with a bit of modern with the piano gloss that matches the TV, receiver and sub. I took advantage of the pre-order from SVS on the PB. I am very happy with the whole setup.

S SportsNut Audioholic Intern Dec 12, 2008 #13 kazlx, how do those sound? Do you listen to more music, movies, or tv and video games? I've never heard of the Swan Divas and I'm really tempted to get the 6.1's cause I've been looking for a few months now. Thanks, Andrew

I haven't installed the surrounds done yet. Just got the wires run to the back wall. I need to modify the brackets. I will get some more pics up when I finish. I'm probably about even between movies, tv and ps3. I just bought the ps3 and I must say I'm very impressed with not only the Blu-Ray, but the scaler for regular DVDs as well.

K kazlx Audioholic Intern Dec 12, 2008 #17 The setup was a little boomy until I got a little more furniture in. Putting a rug on the floor in the middle of the room helped too. That creepy guy is me . My dad was taking the pics. The nice thing about being single and having your own place is that there are no compromises on what I want to install.
