As you can see, my home theater is also my living room. I had a thread up askig for help on where to place my audio/video rack in the living room. I had suggested where the Xmas tree currently is, as well as where it eventually ended up. I absolutly LOVE where it ended up. Putting the AV rack BEHING the viewing/listening position really improved my picture quality. Not literally, but as I have discovered, the fewer distractions, cords, and lights you have near your set while you watch, the less distracted you are. How about that!? And, the rack still looks great all by itself in the rear of the room.

Showing off what I have so far.

From up high, from the kitchen

From the left corner of the couch

From behind the couch

From behind the couch wider, and just for reference, thats a 47" tv.

And the Rack - Oppo 980H, PS3, Pioneer Elite VHX-01, PowerCom

That is a VERY comfortable looking pad that you've got there. I like it a lot.

BTW, it's very chocolatey. :)

Thanks! ACtualy, the couch and tables have just as much red in them as they do brown. Just didnt come off like that in the low light pictures. I don't like straight up brown actually... has to have them red in there for my tastes :)

And you wana see cozy? You should see when the ENTIRE main sofa there completely reclines. THEN its hella cozy!

Wow! That's a great looking setup. I really like how clean the cabling is. BTW, that first pic looks like it should be in of a magazine.

Here are some more pictures for you guys.

A couple of the cableing behind the AV rack. Believe it or not, this was about as clean as I could get it. There gets to a point where even nicely bound up cables start to look like spaghetti!

I like your room. It's nice and clean and looks relaxing. Never mind that I'd kill to have a room that size to work with.

Man you take some good pictures.

I remember when my wire management looked nice. Now that I have 3 zones, a few amps, a MSU and all the other crap, it is difficult to come up with a clean system.

Well, sir, others have said it but I must reiterate: you could probably sell those photos to Oppo & Pioneer for advertising purposes! Very nice photography (and setup, of course)! :D

Thanks man... but honestly, I shot those with ZERO setup. Just snapshots. With some setup, I could get shots 100X better looking.
