Hi,
I am shopping for Subwoofer for Home theater system.
This is the 1st Home theater I am planning to have.

Room Dimensions: 30X25X15 (LXWXH) family Room.
TV: 52 Inch Bravia XBR6 HDTV
Receiver: Denon AVR 2809 CI
Front/Rear/Surround Speakers: Mirage OMD5

I am currently looking for Subwoofer and Center Speaker.

I am considering:
For Subwoofer : Mirage Prestige S10 or Mirage Omni S10.
For Center Speaker: Mirage OMDC1

Please suggest if these Subwoofer/Center Speakers are strong enough for the room size and suggest any.

Thanks for looking.
Have a great day.

Very Large room , a single subwoofer is not adequate. You either need multiple subs or a large SVS or Hsu sub. For that size, if you can afford it a SVS PB13-Ultra would be very good.

The center is good or another OMD5 However, you might want to audition those speakers in a room sized simliar to yours to make sure they are adequate to provide the sound level and sound quality you desire.

Good Luck,

I have a room almost the same size as your and i have a SVS PB12/2 and it does a geat job, i only have the gain about 1/3 of the way but with that said i would not want anything smaller than what i have but i like Maxium Impact!

Good luck with what ever sub you buy!

30x25x15 is considered a VERY LARGE room? That's 11250 cu ft worth of space. I'd consider that typical great room open to a kitchen and hallway type space.

Budget is between 500-700$. Please advice.
If you don't want to up your budget, you can DIY. There are some good deals right now on drivers from Dayton and Elemental designs.

That is 750 sq. ft. That is nearly half the size of the average home. I would hardly call that normal. :)

Hi,
Where can we find PB-12 Plus. I mean where can I buy them.
Reviews are good. But I am having hard time in finding where I can buy them.
Are they avaible online in any of these sites like Amazon, crutchfield, vanns.
Please advice where can we buy them and any other alternate suggestions.
Thanks for looking.

I'll throw the MFW-15 in the ring. Only because you can get a Dual MFW configuration that will do a better job of handling a room of that size for a lot less than you can get anything else that would be adequate enough for that room.
