i have a couple questions about my hd cable box(comcast), first on only a couple of the hd channels they start to break up and distort would this be because of the box or my tv (samsung 46" 630)?
and second where would be the best place to buy HDMI cables for both my cable box and ps3?

the digital break up is almost certainly your cable box. The signal level is probbaly too low, your cable provider needs to adresse that themselves.

try bluejeans, monoprice on line. The latter is fine for shorter runs.
