We've seen plenty of Angelina in other movies, so it would not surprise me in the least if it was actually her and it was breif at most.

While some of the items mentioned were not totally necessary, I don't think this movie crossed the line, nor did it try to present itself as a family movie in any way, shape or form. R to me means inapropriate and that may take a variety of forms, so you can't go into movie with that rating and expect to NOT be offended on some level, especially if your personal beliefs are like yours unreal. It is kind of like saying you want to go into a bar to hang out with friends but you are offended by people getting drunk.

The only language i found offensive was the f-bomb and taking Gods name in vain........so i dont think your analagy of going into a bar can compare.

it would be more like if i went into a bar and hung out with friends and some sloppy drunk slob hurled on my shoes......yeah id be mad but it wouldnt be because of him being sloppy drunk.....id be mad because he hurled on my new "New Balance" sneakers.......LOL!!!

Im not trying to make this movie out to be something its not.....it was mildy entertaining to me.....i just couldnt enjoy it like i would have if they would have left out the f-bomb and taking Gods name in vain. Thats all im saying.


Just because im a Christian dont mean i dont like R rated movies, there are a number of them i like alot. I steer clear of buying movies that are as bad as Wanted.

I mean..... when the guy sticks the gun through the other guys head after blowing out his brains and uses him as a human shield .....c'mon, thats so not Cool to be showing kids that attended with their parents. If it would have been NC-17 noone under 17 is allowed to view it.

Im really tired of dicussing this movie to be honest. It really doesnt deserve all of the drama we are giving it........

Wanted - BR

I hadn't seen this before, but I decided to pick it up on BR today. I'm only about 30 minutes into it, but I love it so far! The Viper chase was excellent!!

Anyone else picking it up?

Probably, looks like it has potential to be a good demo disk if anything else.

Justed watched Wanted on blu-ray

...and it was awesome in terms of SQ & PQ.

I was very impressed with the DTS-HD MSTR 5.1 soundtrack. Super clean sound and super bass. Dialogue is clear and surrounds are strong.

When I first saw it in theater, I thought it was okay, but not great.

I now think it is a great movie after watching it again on blu-ray with great SQ/PQ.

I did end up picking this one up. PQ seemed a bit all over the place. Grainy at times in the few scenes that I checked out, but overall still looked good. Got good marks in its review for PQ and AQ. I agree, the DTS-HD MA track sounds very good.

Does this movie have a DD soundtrack on it? How do you access it?
A friend has it, the title page has DD but as soon as you select play, no DD audio

If it does have DD, you will have to go into Setup to select the DD track because the default track is DTS-MA or plain DTS if you dont' have DTS-MA.

I don't think it is even a selection in the setup menu. These are all that are listed:

* English 5.1 DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround
* Spanish DTS 5.1 Surround
* French DTS 5.1 Surround

I know that at least one other movie I have is the same way also, no DD. What it says on the back of the box may not be 100% correct, as I have found with a number of discs.

Jolie looks a little scrawny in that shot with her butt....I remember thinking that in the theater, but even more so on the BD. Did anyone ever find out if that was really her or a "butt double"? (LOL)

*** shot huh? I'll have to check that out tonight. I bought the BD but haven't watched it yet. I've heard it's pretty much nothing like the comic. Gimme a break, Fox in the comic was supposed to be Halle Berry.

That is what I was afraid of
The lead into to movie, the title selection page is in DD and the movie itself is DTS

There goes that DVD out the window I am frustrated. I thought some form of DD must be on Blu-Ray; I guess not. That will leave many unhappy, unless you have a newer processor.

And, to top it off, I tried to find a phone number for Dolby Labs. None to be found at their web page The yellow pages had one but the phone person could not direct me to a department in Dolby who would know the standards. They only direct you to a person by name.
They certainly made it hard to contact them by phone.

Same goes for Universal and my email to them was misinterpreted. Not a good day.
