but i'll be going to January's CES in Las Vegas
(albeit for only 2 of the 4 CES days)

it just so happaned i have stuff to do in LV, but i will have to arrive 2 days earlier than CES because i couldn't get a ticket for the day before.

it's also the reason i'm flat broke i'll be selling my arm and leg when i get back to fund the trip.

so i was looking over the ces website ... it really doesn't have tickets for walk ins or hobbyists.

unfortunately, i have to keep mum about it ... and if they don't get it out in time in January, i'm still required to keep mum. otherwise they might not show me new stuff anymore.

I can wait till you get back home. It's not like I'm in a hurry.

I flew over the holidays. It was miserable. Every single leg of my trip had a change of rules and bad info. I am seriously considering driving on my next trip. At least you will be on full size planes and I trust you are not 6'4" tall. A long time ago I made it my goal to get really drunk on this flight home. Nowadays they would probably cut you off before you got 1/2 that polluted. Maybe the airlines in your part of the world will put up with more bad behavior than our domestic ones will. Around here they act like they are paying you.

the last time i was on a trip this long - i was flying economy - and i forgot to request for aisle seats. OMG. i almost went nuts, i did not want to bother the two sleeping people to my left and right. i could not walk around, i could not pee when i wanted ...

this time though, i couldn't get economy tickets. so i had to pay through the nose - and more.
