Odd Flapping Noise

I have a HK sub and its about 6 months old. i have loved the bass it gives or gave. i am now hearing a flapping noise from where the wind comes out from the back, i am sure its coming out from there. i only hear it when i have the volume at about +65. the thing is this never happened b4 and i will be honest i listen to alot of music and crank it loud. i took a look at the sub while it was on and it seemed fine. the cone works fine. is there something i can do, like play around with the back of the sub, it has alot of dials which i have never touched. now keep in mind when this noise comes i can still hear/feel the bass also.

I would either remove the amp or the driver and check inside to make sure nothing is loose. Also verify that it is not running too hot relative to the other speakers. This sound also occurs when you are pushing the sub too hard.

This isn't a double post. He posted in another thread, but only received your short sighted answer.

I would recommend was others have said and make sure nothing is loose. If nothing appears wrong, try to return it for a replacement.

I consider this a double post.

I answered the first post, and this one was already here. I don't consider my answer short sighted. I think I steered him in the right direction. Its six months old, and one would presume still under warranty. It does not look like the sort of unit that would tolerate continuous high spl, so when he gets his new one, discretion should be the better part of valor.

Nothing at all wrong with the advice I gave him, which was appropriate.
