Is the Sonic T-Amp for me?

Hello audioholics. I am in the process of upgrading my sound system. Me and my Dad are building Jon Risch’s DIY absorber for my Christmas present, which I am extremely exited about. I also have a few extra bucks, and the T-Amp is obviously good for the money. So can a sonic T-amp drive my 88db sensitivity 6 ohm speakers enough to make them become “alive”, or do these speakers need more power to shine? I am in a smallish listening room. I dont mind a loss in volume, as long as it can fill the room with detailed sound at a moderate volume level. Also, do I just connect my sub to the same terminals as the mains? How much of a difference will I hear compared to my Yamaha AX-592 stereo receiver?

If we're referring to the same product, the T-amp is a little 9-watt (into 4-ohm) amp meant for teensy high-efficiency speakers, computer speakers and the like. Your Yamaha will blow it out of the water in every conceivable way.

ADDED BY EDIT: Doing a little searching around, I see the T-amp has received a lot of hype. Forget the hype. It's a cheap little amp, that puts out a few measly watts cleanly. Nothing more.
