Fibre Optic or Analog RCA

I'm looking into getting a new pair of interconnects for my system. Is there any benefit from going with one type of cable over another?? Such as a pair of pure silver interconnects over a fibre optic cable?

My current set-up consists of Marants CD-5003 cd player, a Denon 2808CI receiver, and pair of PSB Image T65 speakers.

Any input would be great!

Either will work. Don't spend money on silver. Leave it for the speculators.

Optical cables are more fragile. If you use RCA SPDIF, get good 75 ohm cable, like this.

I should add that the RCA SDIF is a digital connection, not analog. Use a digital connection, not analog.

I pefer coaxial ove fiber optic for digital connections. Just a note if you intend to run zone2 or 3 you will need to run analog also, as your receiver will not process digital audio in the additional zones.
