SVS NSD-IV and SB-1000

I received my Atlantic SB-1000 today, and tore it apart before I chained it to my svs.

I've done a few tests and I have to turn up the gain to 3/4 before it outputs reference level tones compared to 1/4 gain on the SVS (20hz tune).

I paid $220 (shipping included) too. It is a decent little addition to my system, but I don't have any experience with other inexpensive subs,

It's an ISD-IV with the upgraded NSD driver.
