Sounds like it may not be the color wheel, but the speed of the color wheel which is the issue. I can easily detect 2x color wheels, but when they get up to 6x and 7x color wheels I can still pick up traces of RBE when I look for it. So, if LED operates at higher frequencies, which I fully believe as DLP chips themselves flip mirrors way faster, then I would definitely agree that LED eliminates RBE for everyone as long as it is properly calibrated.
I would love to see some diagrams (not overly technical) of how LED DLP is put together vs. traditional color wheel based models.
