Is 12 V Trigger Cable a 1/8" mono mini plug?

Adam Audioholic Jedi Nov 23, 2008 #4 Just in case you are asking in general, some 12V triggers don't use the minijack. My Emotiva amps use a connector that takes two bare wires.

You can use any like this, or make them up yourself but that's often more expensive. It's a low current path. Stereo sometimes won't work because you have tip/ring connection at one end and tip/sleeve at the other, which is an open circuit.
