Hey folks,

I'm looking to upgrade to the XPA-5, so the LPA-1's gotta go.

This thing's a beast, and in absolutely mint condition, virtually no flaws. It's still got about 4 years left on the transferrable warranty. If you're looking to make the step up from a receiver or you want a great amp to power your HT, this is a great choice.

The asking price is only $425 shipped!!! Not a bad deal at all, considering Emotiva sells the replacement UPA-7 for $600.

I've heard that there is some sort of 25% off deal going on at eBay. If you know how this works, let me know and I'll list the amp there so you can save yourself even more money.

The 25% deal sounds like blatant BS to me. It says you sign up for Microsoft live then use the sponsored link to buy stuff of eBay and pay with Paypal. 60 Days later Microsoft will send you a check for the 25%.

All I see is a way for someone to now have your eBay password and your Paypal password. C'mon now, like Microsoft is gonna send out millions of dollars to people just for signing up for Microsoft live and buying stuff from anyone on eBay?

I didn't mean to imply in anyway you were doing or advocating anything shady, just to be leary of to good to be true deals. I apologize if it came off that way.

Holy crap!!!

I put the LPA-1 up on eBay last night and it sold in about 1-1/2 hours!!!

The guy e-mailed me if he could use the cashback option but I didn't see his e-mail until today. So I don't know if he used it or not. If he did and it works, cool for him.

I'm glad it sold that quick and easy. Let us know how the cashback thing works out or if you hear anything from MS.
