Which colored PB-13 Ultra would go best with a cherrywood flavored room?

Hi guys! New member here! I'll try to make this short and sweet. I have a room with cherry colored gear (Salamander cabinet, N805's, etc) and just love the color of cherrywood. Unfortunately, SVS does not make the Pb-13 Ultra in cherrywood. Because of this, I bought an MFW-15 in cherry. The sub is really nice, but I want more bass!! I really should have went with the SVS sub in the first place but couldn't pull the trigger due to color. With that said, which colored Ultra would go best with the cherrywood theme? Here is a pic of my room:

I almost went with the rosewood colored ultra, but at the last minute, I felt like the color would clash a bit with my cherry theme. Here is a pic of it from the SVS site:

What do you guys think? Does the rosenut go with cherry? Or, would you prefer black? Thanks all!

i'd go for the textured black or piano gloss black

here's the oak and rosenut swatch on top of an actual rosenut PB13

or in your case, dual cylinders behind the mains, so you can pull your speakers forward :D

I'd say either black (gloss or texture). I hate mismatched wood veneer colors.

The piano finish would look very sweet in that space...given the very refined look of your existing system. As long as you don't mind the extra $100 for that finish.

I agree with the black suggestions. You have a cherry/black theme already, including black stands and black accents on the cabinet.

I really like my SVS cylinder, but the fit and finish aren't at the quality of the boxes. From the looks of your gear (and the fact that you have a Salamander cabinet), I would imagine that you'd be happier with the box.

Black, & move those B&Ws away from the side walls & out of the corners.

All of my 5.0 Aperion gear is Piano Black as is my 50" Samsung bezel, so it was a no brainer to get a Piano Black PB13-Ultra. As already mentioned, you have enough black for a Piano Black Ultra. I like the idea of another MFW-15, but does yours hum, or have fit and finish issues? SVS has SERIOUS quality control.

Ric :)

Wow, great responses! Just what I was looking for. I agree that the rosewood would clash with the cherry. I am hesitant on the piano finish as I know for a fact that it is real easy to scratch.:( To be honest, I love the look of the rosenut finish and that is what pains me.:( My MFW-15 did hum but I fixed that by channeling the wires away from each other on the amp. You guys are right, I do need to move the speakers away from the walls.

You should get another MFW-15 of the same flavor you have.

1) It will sound better because they have identical output and frequency responses.

2) It will look better than different subs.

i think it's a given that if he gets an ultra - the MFW goes elsewhere :D

I would have changed the "Color Theme" to my room first before anything else.

Your obviously not an Audioholic.

Another vote for a second MFW.

You indicate that you just want more bass - a second MFW would give you that. And to be completely honest, I think you need a second sub to balance out your current setup from a visual standpoint. It will always look a little "off" with only one sub there - regardless of what type it is.

Hey Ric can you explain further?
