hi all. after mulling over hours of posts, i still had to ask... i can pick up the svs pb12-nsd for a little over $500 b stock. this is the two 12" version, right? to me, this seems like an absolute steal! it is either this or a klipsch rsw-15 for 1k, or possibly a svs pb13 ultra. i just got rid of a klipsch rw12d that was fair for a sub of that size. i'm looking for some feedback before i pull the hair trigger that is burning a hole in my pocket!! thanks!:)

The PB12-NSD only has one 12" woofer, not two.

I own an SVS sub, and I think very highly of it and the company. I had great experiences with their customer service and support, and the sub impresses me.

If you can get the Ultra, then that's your best choice.:) SVS is a great company to do business with!

I own the 13 ULTRA, if its in your budget, just get one, it is absolutely mind blowing how well it performs for both music and movies...simply fantastic.

OK, I'll join the lovefest;) I never realized what "boomy" bass was until I replace my Klipsh sub with an SVS PC Ultra.

I've not heard a SVS product but based on what I've read in this forum and others about their quality and performance, I just ordered the PC 12 plus sub. Stay tuned!

I had the 2- 12'' version at my house at the same time I had the Servo. It was very nice and equal or better than the Servo. I would have choosen the SVS if I was paying full price but was able to get a lot off the Servo and went with it.

I am going to sale the Servo and replace it with an Ultra crusher!

I have a Piano Black Ultra and its fantastic. It has tremendous output and depth. I would buy another if I needed two! SVS is a great company also.

Have no fear, the new sub will be tested against everything we can find with the proper instruments. If the Ultra out performs the Crusher, Andrew will be wearing it as a hat!
You sound pretty confident of this sub's capability there PD!:)

ULTRA.....ULTRA.....ULTRA That's my vote, I took the leap of faith and it still thrills and amazes me. I was also lucky to find one in "B" stock at a price I've yet seen duplicated, $1199.

I own the pb10 and paid $500.00 cdn and thought that was a steal. If you can spring for the Ultra pb13 go for it:D! Otherwise the pb12 is a very capable sub, how big is your room?

At 20Hz with no equalization this unit will output 110dB before room gain 97dB at 10Hz.

2 of them would beat 2 Ultras. I don't know if one would or not.:D
Very nice! Will it beat dual Ultras?:D My next sub will probably be a DIY project.
