Seriously, I have no life.
My price list is from September and I copy/pasted from it- the retail prices are in the attachment.

Sorry about the difference, I'm just the messenger.

I need to call them tomorrow, anyway, so I'll verify.

I just received a e-mail from a Dynaudio dealer this morning that I contacted last night for you.

"All MSRP prices for pairs (except centers of course)

S1.4 $3300
S3.4 $6000
S5.4 $10000
SC Center $2100
SCX Center $3300
SR On Wall $2300

The S5.4 and SCX have the esotar 2 tweeter that is used in the confidence series."

Sorry for my original post. I didn't realize there had been a price increase.

Audiogon offers much lower prices, I have bought plenty of gear from there, nothing wrong with second hand, let someone else take the hit.

I'm not sure why my price list shows some different prices unless the one I got in Sept has errors, but that was sent to all of their dealers, and I am one.

If would be nice to see that your a dealer in your profile, or signature. It's like your hiding that fact, or something by not having that information there. Just My Opinion.

I figured that if I showed that I was a dealer, it would be like soliciting for business and I don't think that's allowed here.

It's not soliciting for business IMO. It's nice to know who your talking to on here.

To the OP, Dyns are not cheap but are by far one of the best speakers around and they are one of the feww companies that build their speaker form the ground up :) For $500 more than the contour 3.4, he can get the Dynaudio focus 360(6.5K). It has an esotar2 tweeter. I've heard the prototype and that baby can sing. It depends on what you're looking for but they were not as linear as the 3.4s. The 360's bass was lower but not as tight but has a lot of detail in the tweeter.

Sorry for the double post but...

Yeah, I was actually looking for towers in the $2000 or so range. My wife would **** if I came home with $10000 speakers. I would love it she would not. I know Dyn is superb quality I just can't afford them hoping they wouldn't be that drastically expensive.

I guess I could just but A center huh?!?;)

Look at the Excite line. The Dyns are expensive but they are a value in their price classes, in my opinon.

I bet part of these price increases is the exchange rate is/was making it difficult for them.
