What else is there like it?

JL doesn't do that price protection thing that a lot of other brands do. MSRP doesn't mean a whole lot, particularly with this brand, IMO.

A third vote for keeping my Ultra...!!! Goodness...

Not to mention, I can't see how one of things would not eventually cause all sorts of rattles and unwanted noises over time from the amount of sound pressure and output...

These flattened sub driver designs usually involve serious compromise. I expect this driver can not come very close to the W7 unit.
