digital receiver w/ good remote?

Why is it that digital inputs are available in receivers but not in integrated amps? My preference is for an digital integrated amp; as that doesn't seem to be a viable option can anyone recommend a cheap digital receiver (for small bedroom) that has a nice intuitive, easy to read, remote?

do you want a digital receiver for your sat???? like a PVR. or a hometheater receiver, for music and movies. if you are looking for the latter i suggest you get a HK AVR354 or 254. alot of people will tell you that its not a good receiver and that it has bugs. but i have tried the 354 and it was amazing. i adored the remote very simple and no cycling through buttons, everything is displayed on the screen. very easy to use and very good looking receiver and remote. they are fairly pricey at certain stores but i got mine from the e warehouse it was around $200-$300 cheaper. i live in canada so there were no duties or crazy shipping cost. so go ahead and try it im sure you will like it.

email the user first and ask him to reduce the price he will do it but you will have to bug him a bit. i got mine for 389. 60 for delivery

Of course this is purely your opinion, and no one should just take the word of just one person that one product is perfect for them or even good. I am not saying that H/K is bad, or that it's not the perfect AVR for this individual, but I would never presume to know what is right for anyone but myself.

Sorry, I just don't like seeing stuff recommended as being superior especially when measurements aren't in their favor.
