Congrats on the new family member. :)
Alex2507 Audioholic Slumlord Nov 5, 2008 #22 That is one seriously cute kitten. I'm not an animal in the house kind of person but I got a story about these three girls and a kitten. The oldest of the girls was about to turn 12 and the neighbors were giving kittens away. The girls mother was not having any part of it. The 12 year old's father died right before her birthday. The mother at that point could not say no. So in the midst of that kind of loss this one little kitten helped a 12 year old girl, her two younger sisters, her mother and an unnamed uncle get through a pretty tough time. Makes you wonder who is helping who. Last edited: Nov 5, 2008

Adam Audioholic Jedi Nov 5, 2008 #25 Congratulations! Also, thanks for the post/thread. This was a nice break from the rest of my day. A name popped into my head, but I don't know how common or overused it is. "Magic." Jokingly based on her color, but seriously on her story. Adam

I brought a couple of cats home from the foundry to save them from being put down. We still have them. We still have four cats, actually. Yes, my wife loves her cats.

My pooch began his puppyhood with an affinity towards wire nibbling. At about the age of 10 months he got a hold of a power cord, and as soon as those little teeth got through the insulation it cured him of the habit for good. Didn't even realize what he was doing until he yelped and jumped back, poor guy. To this day he won't go anywhere near what exposed HT wires I have.

S sparky77 Full Audioholic Nov 7, 2008 #38 Very cute kitten, we took in a 5 week old kitten that my brother inlaw found at his work, and was half frozen and malnurished, she's also doing very well now. Doesn't it feel good to help a poor innocent animal! I always check out the pet of the day sites on a regular basis to see all the cute pets, and read the stories behind them, maybe you should submit piper there too.
