EDIT: After some research, I see that it ended on September 1. I hope that they bring it back. That was a major factor in me considering Amazon as a place to buy my next TV.

Yeah I guess since their prices fluctuate a lot unlike B&M it was costing them more money. IMO now is probably the best time of the year to buy a TV. I got my TV last year around the same time at Sears and prices were at rock bottom. I did one price match from Nov to Jan of $100 in which Fry's had the TV on sale for one day.

If you are looking for a plasma Sears always seems to have the lowest rock bottom prices this time of year.
