Incredible Hulk BD

I nominate Incredible Hulk BD for multiple viewings.

It gives me a HUGE grin on my face like this:

HULK's DTS-MA blows away IRON MAN's TrueHD by 1 mile and TRANSFORMERS' TrueHD by 10 miles IMO.

After watching the HULK BD, going back to watch Transformers BD is a total disappointment IMO.

I don't understand how high def digest gave Iron Man BD a higher score in sound than Hulk. I notice they complained about dialogue being overpowered by rest of sound in action sequence in Hulk yet I experienced the exact opposite. I found Iron Man dialogue to be overpowered by sound during action sequences and Hulk to be perfectly balanced at all times.

I'm telling you, man. Those idiots probably didn't even watch all those movies that they reviewed.

That's the only reason they gave Transformers BD and Iron man BD higher scores than Hulk BD.

Hulk is up there with Heat as two of the only movies that have REAL sounding gunfire. Heat still is #1, but the bottling factory scene in Hulk is impressive as well.

Just watched HULK Blu-Ray

Holy CRAP! That was amazing!!!!!

The movie was pretty damn good, but the surround was totally amazing. I was trying to explain in another thread that the new lossless surround is different in that it seems to create more movement in the rear channels. The rear effects just pan better than I've ever exprienced.

The movie was just really good, the pq was pretty stellar as well. I'm really digging these new comic movies. They're finally making them well... finding the balance between realism, darkness, humor, and story. It's good stuff. I really liked the way they tied in Iron Man at the end. I'm really excited about these upcoming flicks.
