As much as I would like to hope that all political threads would banish from existence after the election, the threads are going to go from arguing who is best to run the country to bashing whoever is running the country....its like that smell that wont go away;)....

I don't care, as long as I don't have to see Bush or Palin ever again... :D

I think some of the political threads are interesting. Some people really take their time to get what their feelings are on it on the page, moreso than I get out of people in a conversation. I mean, I've started threads to get away from the politics, but, it wasn't because those threads bothered me, its just sometimes I'm not in the mood for it.

And in the main forums so many people have the same budgets that it is painfuly repetative. I need to think of some good conversations starters in there.

All I know is if I get one more Robo-call I'm gonna rip the phone out of the wall.:(
We get at least 6 a day.

I'll be happy when it's over and all any one will have to complain about is President Obama.:p

If a person calls you, tell them to hold on for one second you have to go into the other room "hold on just one minute please I need to walk to the other room", then just go back to whatever you are doing and every once in a while pick up the phone and say "just one more sec" and see how long they stay on the phone. It also ties them up so they can make less annoying phone calls to other people. If your busy, just say "hold on one minute I have to walk into the other room" and set the phone down and just leave it. They'll still stay on for a really long time.

Another personal favorite is if I have to piss I walk into the bathroom and start pissing while they are on the phone and keep them on the phone throughout the entire time including the flush and then when your done say "OKAY ALL DONE THANKS" and hang up.

Man i dont know what has changed lately, but i have been getting the occasional telemarketer calls on my cell

That really makes me mad, although we do have a land line as well, we do most of our calls on our cells. The reason we have the landline is for the DSL.

Peace,
Tommy
