Bi-amping v2.3 with avr-2808
After listening to the bi-wired towers for a few days I decided to reassign my rear surround channels, since I was not using them, and bi-amp the v2.3s.
In my opinion bi-amping made a world of difference for the v2.3s. After bi-amping the towers it seems like the sound is drawn out into the room much better and it is like you are more in the center of the sound.
I had a few problems when I first bi-amped the v2.3s. You have to reassign the rear channels and set the front speaker options to bi-amp A or bi-amp B. After I set the option for the fronts to bi-amp A I was only getting sound from two of the four front channels. It took me a little wile to figure it out but you have to change the front set-up to A+B to get sound out of all four front channels when bi-amping. Maybe this is something that would be obvious to someone with more experience than me but it was not obvious to me from reading the manual or reading about bi-amping the avr-2808 online.
