Hey Mazer and Dawg, What are your thoughts on getting the Emotiva MPS-2 to push the 100's

It will push them and a lot of guys on here love EMO. I have one and it is powerful but I have had a couple of issue with mine and don't tell people they should get them. I would try to find a used Rotel or use a Behringer EP2500 with a fan mod.

Emotiva, Outlaw, Rotel, Parasound. Any of them will work.

Funny you should mention that. I was just looking at a Rotel RMB-1095 on audiogon for 1280.00. Don't have the funds to buy something right now (seeing that I just bought the 100's) but I'm already thinking ahead. For now I'll just hit them with the elites built in amplification (140x7 into 8ohm)

SpeakerCrafts are good, that's why I have them in my bedroom. Paradigms belong in real rooms though!

At the time my system was put together. I had no clue about any of this stuff (I still don't). I went to two Audio boutique stores in my area, and had them come to my house to design a system for me.

If I knew then what I know today, I most likely wold have went a different direction with my in-ceilings (Triad, Snell).
