I haven't been too good about recording myself... it's always that I just start playing around and never press "record." I've been asked back to where I played this set though, so I'll probably record next weeks and I can post that!

Most of it is vinyl, so no 5.1.. This is just a direct recording off the mixer of my set last night .. some spots are a bit sloppy because I was a bit nervous, only played as a hobby up till now, but no one seemed to notice and I've been asked back.
It still sounds better than the voicemail my friend left me while he was standing in the middle of the club while I was playing
Voicemail Haha, the distortion is the phone speaker, not the PA system there...you can see it was pretty loud though!
That would be really cool to do though. I might toy around with mixing some 5.1 studio mixes though. Some tunes I'm familiar with I could use the dub version for the rears, I donno, I'd have to play around a bit. If I didn't go overboard with the rears I think it would be cool ... I'm sure I'd screw up a few times before I got it right!
