An oldie but definitely a goodie.

Old school inputs:

And.... it's very massive.

But I dug even deeper:

Congrats, and thanks for the pictures!

BTW, that's probably the nicest inside of a pizza box that I've ever seen. I'm happy to see that you have windows. I was worried about you, man. :)

I don't think that's a pizza box my friend. I think its his new and improved transmogrifier v2.0.

Looks like you have the focus and convergence fairly well dialed in there - just a bit off on the upper and lower right quadrants. IIRC those don't have the electronic convergence right? Tubes look fairly bright too - any idea how many hours it has on it? That PJ brings back some memories - it's the first projector I calibrated in an OTB parlor in New Orleans back somewhere around '89 or '90-ish - laid on my back on a scaffold for a few hours dialing it in.

I've got a 1272Q in my closet that I haven't messed with since two moves ago... (and those big beasts are not much fun to move). ;) You're making me want to get it out and fiddle with it again... they're fun to play with - thanks for the pics and ENJOY. :D

I know the convergence and focus is a bit off; my projection screen was rather close to the projector, and the closer it gets, it's near impossible to get it lined up. If I had a larger screen, and back about 10 more feet or so, it WOULD be perfect.

Convergence contols are on this panel, under the white plastic on the right side:

Not sure of the hours... the blue tube is a bit burned in in the middle though. Everything else is fine though.
