A special thanks goes out to Chris Seymour of Seymour A/V for hooking up a deal to get Jerry Greenfield, Co-Founder of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream - the company that brings us ultimate combinations of worldly tastiness, to attend our 2008 SOTU Event on Friday October 24th around lunch time to personally scoop for you some of his complementary (e.g. "hey, nice shirt") ice cream. Register NOW and get the latest SCOOP on new industry products and technologies. Big announcement coming this Monday from a new Exhibitor coming to our event to open up a 7th Demo Room. Stay tuned.....

Discuss "Ice Cream" here. Read the article.

Wasn't this supposed to be available last year? What's taking them so long to catch up after they had finished making these so long ago? Is there some licensing issue, or are they too caught up making Insignia receivers?:D

It's Ben and Jerry's

Enjoy! Have at least one for me.

I finally made it to the store about an hour ago. Breyers Cherry Vanilla. Mmmm, tasty.

Bryers??!!!!! Uh, Hello! McFly! BEN and JERRY'S is the only ice cream we are suppose to be posting about, on this thread! :D (joking)
I think I'll go and get me some of the Ben and Jerry's ice cream that I like most of all: CHUBBY HUBBY!!!!! (choclate covered-peanut butter filled pretzels, in peanut butter ice cream.. Heaven!!):) Joe B.

How would ya like to work in the factory where those cows are milked??!!
I can't think of a single response that won't get me in trouble. Well, besides saying that. :D

I just finished off another helping of ice cream. There's a good reason why I don't normally buy that stuff...I just keep eating it for meals until it's gone.

It was demoed in CEDIA but not much comment out there. You can find the details in AVS forum.

Yeah, I got the Outlaw news letter announcing the Tannov room correction used in Sherwood's flagship receiver and will be used in their upcoming processor separate. But is Sherwood a "new" exhibitor? I really don't know.

Also, for &1,399 (preorder) and offerng Realta for video is a steal (from Outlaw Audio).

yes

It's a steal if it works properly. Sherwood has been plagued with problems and delayed fixes. If it takes them 2 years to release a product guess how long will it take them to release a firmware fix...............last time it was a year!

Ben&Jerry, Breyers, Blue Bell ?????

Nestle's makes the best ice-cream, I should know,lol.

28 years, 1 month and 3 days (give or take) at an ice-cream plant!

I did some work for a Nestle's plant back in college. A year of work (I wasn't paid for it, btw) - and not one free sample. Nada. Not even a piece of taffy. Oh, well. :)

My favorite ice cream these days is Starbuck's Java Chip. Mmm, mmm, good.

Does anyone remember Steve's Ice Cream? http://www.herrells.com/design/index.php?lv=28
Steve's was my favorite, it was a heavy, low air ice cream.
It was available nationally, in the eighties. It came in the pint containers like Ben & Jerry does today.

He's now opened 5 or 6 places under his last name, Herrell's. Mostly in the MA area.
