I just wanted this for behind the credenza.

I was going to use a keyston but I was hoping I could find one that would allow a terminated end at both sides. I am too paraniod that I will jack something up if I cut this one. I am not going back up in the attic!
Well there you go another job done. What plates were you looking at? Are you going to cut the wire and use keystone jack? This would snap into that plate.

Completed project.

I know I should have used a tripod so the picture would be better but I have 30'' before she gets home and a lot of clean up to do. She freaks when I cut holes in the walls!

I'm about to pour scotch #3 right now. Lynn picked up a couple of bottles for me in NH (no tax). I've got Old Pulteney which is new to me and comes from the most Northern distillery on the mainland. Very light and sweet. I usually like a more peaty scotch but it is a nice change. The other is The Balvenie 12yr doublewood. This one I have had and it is very nice.:D 10yrs in oak and 2 in sherry.

Balvenie 12yr doublewood is my very favorite reasonably priced scotch!

I am on a tequila kick right now so I will have that.

Hey just between you and me, I dont think I believe that all AVRs sound the same anymore. Maybe it's the Audessy controlling my poor acoustic enviroment but this thing sounds the best it ever has.

We should move to NH it was only 42 bucks:eek::D

I also found the audessey did a great job with my room. The one thing I found was that the bass seemed lean at first but after I got used to it I think it is more accurate and not as "boomy"

I spent a lot of time in Eatontown, NJ at my last job. How far is that from you?

I find my bass stronger or maybe it's just better.

I've come to believe scotch is overpriced. Go with bourbons. Half the cost, still taste great. Latest discovery was single batch Elmer T Lee for $21. Tastes better than most any $50 scotch I've ever had.

Then again, for peaty scotch lovers, I highly doubt you'll come across a US whisky that smells or tastes like Laphroaig!

Other good deals, since tequila comes up. Orendain for $10 tastes as good as most $20-25 bottles. More than enough for margaritas.

Rain organic vodka, quadrupled distilled, charcoal/diamond filtered, $14, or $24 for the handle.

I entertain a lot!

My next trip up there is tomorrow, I am putting the 659 in the bedroom so I have to run wires behind the plasma and to the SpeakerCraft in-ceilings.
Just take the bottle with you whenever you do go up there. You'll actually learn to look forward to your next visit. :)

Oh I like bourbon too.:D I am an equal opportunity boozer. I quite like makers mark and a couple of other single cask ones I cannot remember right now.

I don't like Laphroaig a bit too much for me. I drink alot of Glenmorangie but welcome a change once in a while.

I will keep your other suggestions in mind. As winter comes we have a ton of people over during ski season and good cheap booze is always a bonus.

Cool. ;) Another good bourbon, very good, is Eagle Rare 10 year, 90 proof, $23. Both the Eagle and Elmer taste better than Glenmorangie IMO.

Makers is very popular, but I find it a bit too sweet. For the most popular brands, I prefer Knob Creek to it.

This thread makes me want to go on a booze run!!

Knob Creek is a good one. I think scotch has a wider range of flavors than bourbon. I have found very few that taste similar where there are a few bourbons that I would have a harder time distinguishing.

Well you won't here an arguement from Greg or I. Get to it man!:D

Well for God's sake do it early in the morning so you don't pass out! It must only be 100 up there at 9 am.

I'm here, brother! Well, about to walk the dog, but here for now. ;)

Were you looking for a drinking buddy? You know that Craig always has your back. :)

I know it is weird when he is not here but hey he does have a life outside of here:eek:

maybe:rolleyes:
Nah, no life. :D At the time of those posts, I was just coming out the other side of an interstate parking lot here. I never did see what the heck caused it, but driving through down town took forever yesterday. Maybe I need to get an iPhone so that I can get my AH fix on those rare occasions that I'm stuck away from a computer.

That is one things I like about my area is the lack of traffic jams. The only time things like that happen is when the Ironman race comes to town.

I have refused to even look at an iPhone. We don't have AT&T here so you can't really have one but if I were to use one I know I would have to have it.:(

P-Dawg,

Before you go runnin' up into that attic let me reccomend that you goon 3 raw eggs with a teaspoon of mustard and a lot of Tabasco. It won't help with a hangover but it'll make for a great story. :D
