Wow, pretty much nothing of interest this week for me. First week in a while where there were no BD purchases for me, though I am going to pick up the Kill Bills to get the $10 off each rebate for owners of the originals.

J, you should've done that last week unless that Best Buy deal is still going on. I bought them at $23.99 ea (went up $1 ea), but took them back after I realized that the additional $20 was only for owners of the SD DVD's. I loved that movie, but it's not worth $38+tax. Catalogs should be $20.

Those Universal Blu-Ray titles are decent deals. However, I read you. The release pool has become thin. I'll probably buy Forgetting Sarah Marshall as well as 40 Year Old Virgin (the HD DVD was an edge enhanced mess) on Blu when the prices come down. I picked up "Led Zeppellin" on Blu last week as the HD DVD is actually pricier. Fry's was also charging $11.99 for The Sting HD DVD. I had to laugh. (Yes, I actually put the disc back over the $2.)

The quality of releases should pick up soon. Iron Man is due at the end of the month!

Yeah, I went to BB to get the deal last week, but they were out of stock already. If they had it, I was going to have them price match Frys so I get my Reward Zone points, then get the $20 rebate and end up paying like $9 each I am sure the prices for KB1 & 2 will drop for the holidays.

I had been looking religiously at Fry's every week for like a month waiting for the Primus 362 deal to come back... and it had finally gone to back of my mind, when I log on and low and behold... there they are... ... now all i need is a good deal on some in-ceiling surrounds . I will keep a weathered eye on the horizon... thanks again...

I just paid around $12 for Beetlejuice from WHV, but their Interview price is good, about the same as what I paid from there. One thing I didn't see in the store was the Ray Harryhausen set? Why do they only have Sinbad on sale, what about the rest of them???
