Nice! You've put together a nice, clean set-up there. Is your component rack inside of a closet? Also, it looks like you got your new Hsu! Congratulations on that. You'll have to let us know how that was all handled and if you're happy with the end product.

Thanks for the pics.

Nice setup for a small room. As I was scrolling through the pics, I immediately recognized the D5's. It's just such a beautiful little speaker. It's got to sound great in that room.

Wow! Looks like you took every AH Tips & Tricks article right to heart. :)
So, how's it sound? Sure looks like sound was a priority. The wire molding does it's job well. Not that this isn't enough but what do you plan to do to the room next? There is always a 'next' ...

Looks like a room I would really enjoy. We can't all just start hanging 4" panels where ever it suits us.
Women, you can't live with 'em ... :D

I've read your other thread with a certain interest because I was also considering treatments. I sent (GIK) some pictures of my room and they gave my some recommendations for my set-up but my S.O won't allow me to move the sofa off the wall or place tri traps in corners other than that I'm good to go:(. BTW your room looks great and you appear to be very happy with the results so far.:)

Cheers, Bill:)

That's a great setup! What an awesome little room to do that in. Is that a second bedroom?

Adam: Yes the rack is in the closet, its an awesome space saver and the system looks ultra clean with the door shut. And yes that is my new HSU! This one came packed extra well no dings what so ever and I opted to get this one without the gloss on it which I think it looks alot better without it.

Alex: Oh yeah there is always stuff I can do, I want to add some more tri-traps in the front corners and some 242's on the ceiling and sidewalls. Plus Im still waiting for my LCR for the center it should be arriving at the store anyday now. And yes my Girlfriend hates the panels:D

cbraver: yes its actually the 3rd bedroom that was going to be an office but I think this is more practical to me. I still have a master and a spare bedroom so space wasnt too much of an issue. If I ever have kids though, it will have to go:(

Hey Bill, if style is an issue with your SO have you considered the Elite Panels from GIK, they are beautiful and can be hung in the corners. Or you can stand mount them. Let me tell you these panels are worth their weight in gold! I was in awe how much better the room sounded with them, the bass is so warm and there is not a trace of any boomyness. It became so much tighter and punchy I just cant say enough good about these, once you get them you will wonder why it wasnt the first thing you bought:)

This small room really shows that you have put a lot of thought into its design and implementation. Not something I see a lot of. I like everthing about it, from the equipment selection to the acoustic treatments.

Small rooms are a real challenge and it looks like you stepped up to face it head on.

Congratulations!!!.....and keep us posted on your progress. I really want to know what color you are going to paint it.

Thanks Westcott, it was a challenge but thanks to all the AH on this forum it was a pleasure to set it up I could not have done it without the help of the people here:)

As to the color of the room unfortunately it has to remain the same, there are some limits that my Sig other has and painting the room was one of them. I wanted to go dark but she put a nix on that one so I'll just put up a ton of bass traps and acoustic panels:D

Very nice job. Makes me want to reconsider using my 3rd bedroom as a HT room.

Thanks for posting the pictures, and sharing your HT room with us. Did GIK help you with the placement of the traps?

Very nice stripes!!!! So neat and clean looking. I can easily see you have put a lot of hard work into it. I bet it sounds fabulous too. Congrats on such an accomplishment. Just keep up the good work. BTW, thanks so much for the pics as they were also nicely done. Kudos to you! ;);)

Yes Bryan at Gik gave me the suggestions that I went with, they are really good with helping their customers out, I sent them pics of my room and the same day they got back to me with ideas for panels and placement.
