I bought SONY MDR-7506 headphones last year, which was a great purchase until a couple of months ago. I was on a plane in an isle seat and I had to get up to let the lurp next to me get out. I love using my own headphones for the inflight movies. Those personal entertainment screens are the only saving grace on a 9-hour flight. Except this time I snapped the end of my headphone jack.
The brilliant folks at SONY parts depot have so far only wasted my time. I ended up with the wrong part, which I blame on their website for not having pictures of the parts they sell. How was I supposed to know what PLUG, ADAPTORMINI-PHONO STEREO, 150658911 was? Overall, I am not impressed with SONY's customer service. I returned it and asked for help and they suggested that I buy the same wrong part again. I wonder how much they get paid to make stupid suggestions like that.
My question remains. See attached pic to be sure of what I need. Does anyone know where I can buy the part I need or more importanly what the part number is if I have to order it? I am in Iraq, but I think I have the tools available that I need to do the fix. Thanks in advance for the help.
