Checked this out last weekend. I don't think I heard about it in the theaters at all, and it got bad reviews from what I read. But I really liked it.

Pretty cool little crooked cop story. I believe it was by the same director as Training Day. Keanu Reeves is the star, so don't expect Academy material. But he did a decent job, and the rest of the cast was very good. He drives a pretty kick-*** black Charger in it. Had great sound too.

Definitely worth a rental.

I remember the trailer and thinking, great yet another Training Day, ESPECIALLY when I saw that it was from the same director. I might check it out now that you say it isn't complete garbage. Keanu is kind of hit and miss - sometimes he is good and others he is just a waste of film.

Wasn't any worse than Constantine, which I also happened to enjoy. Unfortunately my PS3 bricked in the middle of this movie about 3 weeks ago. We should be getting the PS3 back in a couple days.

i watched it on ppv and i thought it dragged on but was pretty good, too bad im the type of person to finish the movie when i started, i ended up getting sick staying up too long haha

I took my wife to see this at the theatre and even though this is not her type of movie she really liked it. After she watched this I told her that it was from the same guy as Training Day which made her want to see it. I ended up getting the Training Day HD DVD for 8 bucks at Fry's along with other movies like Top Gun, Million Dollar Baby, and others. It's funny that because of all the cheap HD DVDs I now have more of them than BDs.

It doesn't top Training Day for story and acting and I generally HATE Keanu Reeves....but not too shabby overall. I'd watch it again.

The start of the movie is confusing but super solid if you like violence. There are some gray areas in the plot, late in the movie but it moves well in the beginning and really well towards the end.

It isn't LA Confidential, Mulholland Drive, Serpico or Training Day....but definitly worth a rental from me...not a keeper.
